14 Mar Ooops… I made a mistake
The other week, I issued a newsletter in which I used the word ‘subjugation’. I asked you whether it was a word that had you react, perhaps wince. It is a word I know that has judgement around it.
At the time, I was aware that the term was strong, I searched for another – and I gave myself a very good lesson in how I subjugated my intuition to my will!
About to travel, impatient to issue my newsletter, I ignored my intuition and didn’t get clear about what I wanted to say. Oops! With hindsight, I feel that I made a mistake – and of course with every mistake there is an opportunity to learn and grow.
What I am wondering now is…. what word might you use to describe the situation where we put another person’s desires before our own? Or, we focus so much on helping others to grow that we forget our own purpose in life. What would you say?
I’d love to hear what you think, so I’m offering to those who respond a gift from me – a meditation for you to see, feel, touch the diamond in your heart, the precious gift of who you are. This audio is only available right now to those of you who take time to get back to me!
