The oak tree’s roots go as deep as its branches reach up to the sky – as above so below. How strong is your foundation, how far do you reach?

- Do you have a clear vision for what you want to achieve; or
- Do you feel that there is something missing in your life? You long for a sense of purpose, a sense of meaning, a passion for how you’re living?
I remember once sitting on a bench on the common when I looked up and next thing I knew a pod landed at my feet! I was reminded of the saying ’From little acorns come mighty oaks’. From a tiny acorn grows the majestic oak – and it can seed a whole forest!
Trees are said to symbolise the circle of life, the seasons, and for me they are magical beings! The seeds can represent a fresh start, positive energy, growth… unlimited potential. The individual leaves on the tree represent our uniqueness, and each contributes to the beauty of the whole. The branches are symbolic of our potential to reach out and express ourselves through compassionate action.
